Let's see how this works

I've been told that journally is helpful...So we'll give this a shot to see if it works. Yesterday we took the youth group on a Habitat for Humanity build in Seattle. We arrived early only to find that someone had broken into the container that housed all of the tools and equipment. Later in the day several news crews showed up to interview the Habitat folks and bring awarness to the issue. Apparently they stole nearly $10K in supplies. I think it was good for the teens to be a part of this in a way. It helps them to see a bigger picture of the world we live in.

Gracie has been at mom's all weekend. So I really am missing her. Last night when she called she said she had roasted her own hotdog and marshmallows! Chad and I couldn't believe it. She is growing at an amazing rate this year. Kindergarten has been good for her, good for us all, but mostly for her. It is always fun to hear about the good frog days she has and talk about what make some of those other "frogs" have so-so days or sad days.

Today we are going to get some chores done, unless I keep inventing things to do so I don't have to do chores. Tomorrow the computer guy is coming, haircut for Gracie and the start of a new week and super busy week!
